I’ve rented an apartment, I’ve rented a home and I’ve owned a home in Euclid. I’ve lived in Wards 8, 5, 7 and 2 – where I currently reside with my husband Mike. I view Euclid as the biggest small community. We are made up of multiple neighborhoods with the collective strength of one of the largest suburbs in Cuyahoga County.
"One leader can’t answer all the questions. One leader alone doesn’t always know the best way- but I promise you with my leadership, experience, action-oriented focus and decisiveness, we can thrive with a strong City of Euclid team and engaged neighborhood leadership."

Many experiences throughout my childhood, young adulthood, and motherhood have significantly influenced how I make decisions and maintain a sharp focus on the big picture of change. These experiences have also guided me in creating and facilitating processes to help achieve goals.
Facilitating Group Development
As a trained facilitator, I excel at uniting diverse groups by helping them identify common goals and assisting in the development of group plans. This skill has allowed me to bring people together and work collaboratively towards shared objectives.
Working with the Euclid Police Department
When I was hired at the Euclid Police Department, the Chief at that time gave me a specific task: to find out why officers were repeatedly responding to the same residence without any criminal activity occurring. This challenge became a pivotal moment in my career. I recognized that many families were struggling with a lack of essential needs, the inability to manage differences, and the absence of a support structure to help navigate disorderly behavior. I discovered that these families were also frequently on the radar of the Euclid Fire Department and the housing department.
Building Collaborative Solutions
Bringing these and other departments together allowed us to combine our strengths and effectively address these situations. We were able to provide real-world opportunities for improvement while teaching new skill sets. This collaborative approach has become the backbone of my service ministry to residents throughout Euclid, and it continues to drive my passion for community improvement.
